About Dr. Gus Cutz

Dr. Cutz is a CBA psychologist experienced in providing evidence-based treatments for individuals with mood, anxiety, trauma, adjustment, ADHD, and personality disorders. He is dedicated to CBT and DBT approaches, with experience across outpatient, inpatient, day treatment, emergency room, and community crisis settings.

Dr. Cutz previously completed an externship and postdoctoral fellowship with Cognitive Behavioral Associates. He has received intensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and, additionally, has specialized intensive training in Prolonged Exposure (PE), an evidence-based trauma-focused therapy, as well as extensive experience treating individuals coping with bipolar disorder and severe depression.

Dr. Cutz has decades of experience in the study and practice of mindfulness, including training in Nepal. He also provides consultation to mental health agencies on the effective implementation of DBT practices.
